Human or AI? is a daily reading challenge built around a simple question with a surprisingly difficult answer: can you recognize which short passage has verified human provenance when it appears beside convincing synthetic writing? Each round gives you four compact samples. One is a short excerpt from an identifiable public-domain human-written source, while the others were generated specifically for this game.

The challenge is designed to reward careful reading, context, and healthy skepticism rather than a checklist of supposed “AI tells.” Modern text generation can produce concise, emotional, formal, humorous, descriptive, and conversational writing. Human authors can also be polished, repetitive, unusual, highly structured, or unexpectedly plain. That overlap is exactly why intuition can fail.

After you choose, the game reveals the verified human source and a short explanation. That provenance matters more than trying to infer authorship from tone alone.
